# New identifiers for audience activation

Activate audiences with hashed emails and mobile numbers alongside existing identifiers, so platforms have more ways to match your audience.

Customers can now activate audiences using hashed email addresses and mobile numbers alongside our existing identifier pools, giving advertising platforms more ways to match the people in an audience.

Not every advertising platform can match every identifier. By providing more identifiers for each customer, Outra increases match rates and makes more of your selected audience available for activation.

The upgrade is live and has been applied automatically across all accounts. There is nothing customers need to change. Existing activation workflows will benefit from the additional identifiers automatically.
